I’m Sarah Dudek and I am an RRCA Certified Marathon/Endurance Coach and ACE Certified Health Coach. As a former competitive and professional figure skater I have a love for overall health and physical fitness. My passion for physical activity and health and wellness has poured over into my career and life!
As a running coach I have worked with athletes of all levels from those who are just starting out, through setting PR’s and Boston Qualifiers.
To date I have created training plans and helped over 500 runners and run/walkers to complete full marathons, first 5k’s, and everything in between. I have worked with runners to finish the Chicago Marathon, New York City Marathon, Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon, Dallas Marathon, Des Moines half and full marathons, Portland Marathon, Marine Corps, Big Sur, Toronto Lake Front Marathon, several Disney and Rock & Roll half marathons, the Chicago Spring 13.1, Grandma’s Marathon as well as many others. I even work with triathletes!
I myself have completed dozens of races from 5K’s to the marathon distance and have twice qualified for the Boston Marathon. I have also received multiple age group and overall wins at various distances. In addition, I was named one of the 28 Great Running Coaches in the Great Lakes Area by ekneewalker.com.
As a Health Coach, I am trained to work not only with athletes but also with at risk populations to help achieve a healthier lifestyle through behavior modifications, physical fitness, and healthy eating.
My husband Rock and I run a sports program in Chicago, NYC and other Midwest locations where we teach group sports classes to children. Rock and I often work together with athletes to ensure that everyone receives customized and individualized training. We are also the proud parents of two beautiful little girls, Mary and Lucy.
When I am not running or helping others find a way to incorporate running or other forms of fitness into their lives, I love to be in the kitchen cooking and baking. I enjoy eating just about as much as I do working out, and like to find ways to create healthy twists on my favorite indulgences.
I’d love to hear from you!
I love your blog!

Great blog for me 😀 I love running (especially when it goes well) and I coach a kids swimming team. I will be stalking your blog…
Great. Welcome!
I have a feeling your blog might help me get through my first full marathon so thank you in advance! I shall definitely be following! If you want to keep up with my attempt, which I’m guessing will be the complete opposite to yours 😳 I would be one happy runner! L.
I will definitely be following and let me know if you ever have any questions, I would be happy to help. Good luck!

Hey, I recognize Charlevoix! When was that? I just did that race last June. Great race. First time I ran a negative split and felt like I was starting to “get” the marathon distance.
That was this past June. We had a great time. I actually qualified for Boston there. Are you from the area?
My wife is from Gaylord, so we’re in Michigan quite a bit. We live in Ohio.
Congrats on Boston. Good course for qualifying. I’ll probably be there next time time trying to get my 3:14:59.
That is awesome! Good luck. I am originally from Kalkaska and we have a lake house up there so we are usually there in the summer as well. Small world.
Thanks for following me. It led me to your blog which I just signed up for too. Love it!
Awesome! Welcome.
Lol. Just realized you didn’t follow my blog. But happy you liked my post nonetheless. I hope you’ll follow me soon 🙂
